Now I need to find 2 spares, one of each version. I hear that!! I'm with you, brother... I also want to try the 1909 version like RocketMan and some of the cats have...The patent for that one was applied for by deMesquita in 1909; the same year August Scheuber applied for the 1912's patent. But the Shovelhead when into production in 1909...Those first models, the Yankee and New Ever-Ready had the patent application no. on them.

I've been using my 1914 daily for the last 2 months, anD she is charming.....Then I deviated to the OCMM and Clog-pruf where I was reminded of how wonderful they are. Then today for the 4th of July I broke out my love, this 1924 Alan gave me, and man she won my whiskers and heart just like she did originally....What a fantastic and extraordinary razor she is....If there could be only one........

Thanks for the review and certainly this is also my shaver because I like the aggressive shave.
