Yes! I finally got one!!! It takes vintage Weck Sextoblades or modern Personna hair shaper style blades, a shave much akin to the GEM single edge with a blade that is longer and narrower. I literally can't wait for this one to arrive. ... here's the straight version for comparison:

You don't see those every day! I'm amazed at what you gents find in the SE razor world!

You don't ... rarer still for nobody else to have bid on it.
This is one I have coveted for a while now, so I am thrilled to have landed one. There's another surgical razor I have my eye on, but it's a DE so we'll leave the chat about that one right there.
In terms of blades, this one takes the long, thin hair shaper blades which I've been using for some time on the folding razors. It's a nice shave, so I have high hopes for the SE version with the blade on a T.

Outstanding Paul! Another weird branch of the SE family tree to be explored

Damn! Why Paul? Why give everyone SE fever? Ironically, I had passed a few of these up for a cheap price. I have quite a bit of odd razors that require modding a blade. Being short on time and having to juggle around a few odd razors I passed the Weck up. One elegant SE razor you have there. It looks like a Durham turned SE.

Brooklyn seems to be the "Sheffield" of the US razor world. By all accounts, it's a good shave ... I already like the blades, so don't think there'll be anything other than happiness for me

Very nice. I have never even noticed these before. Looks like a solid frame for shaving. Looking forward to the shave report sir!!!
It goes to show ya - even in the world of razors - there is something new (at least for me) every day!

Will do ... it's got to make it across the Atlantic, so it'll be a week or so before I can have a go with it.

Here's a quick couple of pictures of my stainless steel beauties:
I'm currently using one for about a third of my shaves. It took a few shaves to get used to the width of the blade and early on I nicked by ear lobe a good one. The two wide bladed models shown take the modern Personna and Fromm hair shaper blades. You can get them at Sally Beauty in the US or on Amazon. I bought a pack of both brands, but haven't gotten around to trying the Fromms because I've liked the Personnas a lot. The latter are sharp and have proven very durable. I'm only on the second blade out of the original packet. The third Weck shown is only 1 and 1/8" wide and I don't yet know of a modern blade that will fit it. I have a pack of vintage blades for it but will not use them until I have a good supply.
For me the shaves are smooth and close and (once you get used to the width) quite effortless. The shaves are also quicker because the blades cut a wider swath.

It's arrived Hell of a blade gap! One to take slow and steady, I think ... looks like it'll be right up my street, so to speak. Tomorrow's shave ...
