Both the College and Very Sharp SE razors have something in common. The two safety razors secure the razor blade in place via the handle. They also suffer from two similar design flaws.

I remember in the Playboy interview,that they were talking about 'Infedelity' and the interviewer asked Groucho, "Did your father ever 'fool around' on your Mother." And Groucho fired back, "He must have...I have several brothers..."

Here is a clearer view of the College razor's top plate. The top plate is roughly half of the size of the base plate. The top plate connects to a bottom frame (the curved protrusions on the left and right side), sandwiched in between both is the base plate. There is a curved cut out in the middle section of the back of the base plate. The back of the base plate also curves upwards, this curvature secures the razor blade from sliding out.
