My single edged wedge journey has lead me to the Kronenberg 101. I love this razor, it's has much better balanced than my Rolls, Darwin Universal or Everite.

After doing some reconstruction work on a small crack on one of the corners of the blade, I went Chosera 1K, Nube 5K, Tsushima Black with TBN, Asano Koma and tomonagura on a Nakayama Asagi. 15/30 Rough leather/Smooth leather SRD Paddle Strop. The steel is much harder than the one used on the Rolls and Darwin Universal I have.

I've owned a Darwin and have kept hold of a couple of Rolls Razor sets, but I've never seen an Everite. There are some pictures in Waits Compendium, but I'd love to see some pictures of yours up close and personal ... basically, it's a blade on a stick, no frame or guard. Correct?

I can't post a picture because apparently this site has exceeded its allotment of something.

Hi there and welcome! I see you have discovered our nemesis here. That being allotments of data allowed on the site. But, by using a photo service such as photobucket we can squeak by. I hope you don't mind, but I tinkered with your two posts above to add a photo link to your photo service which allows our website to 'publish' the photos on demand. You just need to cut and paste the direct link for the photo on photobucket into the image http address box when you select the insert photo button on the menu bar when you make a post. Then voila, the pics magically appear! ( Well, it would be magic it it wasn't so much work!!) I hope that made sense. Great razors by the way! The Kronenburg has never come up here at TOST so it is a great addition. Some more close ups would be great if you can muster the time and patience needed to get it done! Welcome to The sharp side!

Ah, so the Everite does have a frame. Similar to a Burham and so on ...

That's a Lovely Razor Sir...
Now that my Schick's have been "Out Schicked" by Pauls Christy and I've recovered from all my Schick dreams being shattered..... I have bought two decent Wedge Blades from Flea-Bay to begin my Wedge Blade shaving journey.....
Problem is I haven't a clue where to start in terms of how to sharpen them.......Can someone offer me a Beginners Guidance towards what I now require to sharpen/hone these blades....Any Intel would be very much appreciated.....

Many like to get creative with chop sticks and/or use the side handle to hone these blade sections while a piece of electric tape extended 3/4 of an inch on both sides to help you flip is all you need. You can basically go 1,4,8K and the finisher of your choice to get you in the ballpark. I use Japanese natural most of the time so my edges will be markedly more aggressive. If you would like something smoother, a coticule is a good way to go. If you have a Rolls Razor take the stone section out of the panel, put it on a raised surface and finish or touch up on that.

You could buy a progression of 3m lapping film and use them on a piece of polished granite. If you are in the usa ? can most likely make them sharp for you. The lather catcher is a much different experience with a wedge. Instead of fizzing and rattling, it is stable and commanding.
