What a collection!
I've let almost all of mine go (French wedge holders, that is), but still have a Louis (I'm after the one on the right of your Louises), Le Grelot, L'Essor, Henckels (like your Rapide) and a Wilkinson Sword Patent Roller Safety Shaver (think, Henckels/Rapide with a Wilko roller guard). Great razors! Oh, naturally, being an ASR geek I have a load of their early stuff, lather catchers and the like. The Darwin was fun. I prefer the Rolls. Like you, I have an Imperial 2 set and a Viscount.
Wonderful to see!

Incredible - beautiful collection! You have a lot of the more obscure models in addition to the usual Kampfe Bros, Rolls, Wilkinson, etc. I find wedge blade sets to be fascinating. I enjoy shaving with them and would do so more often but I just don't have the time for the associated stropping, honing, wiping, etc. Perhaps after I retire in a few years . . . Wedge blade sets are my "Plan B" if the supply of SE blades ever drys up. --Bob

Thanks for the compliments. A Le Grelot SE is on my wishlist. Got three Le Grelot straights and since earlier this week a Le Grelot DE, so the SE would make it complete. Got a Le Grelot wedge though. I haven't honed all wedges (yet). The Wilkinsons and the Fox still are waiting for a shaveready one, the Rollses share one shaveready wedge, the Darwin is shaveready, one proprietary Mulcutoblade is shaveready and there's two wedges shaveready that are shared by the other razors (some of wich are waiting for their first testrun). The goal is to have all wedges honed and ready to go, that will take a while. Maybe I just oughta start. One every weekend :-)

I know what you mean about finding time to hone the wedge blades. I have a Wilkinson Empire 7 Day set that I can only use on Mondays and Tuesdays. --Bob

The 2k is a very nice bevelsetter but a bit slow, so I've been planning to get a 1k or maybe 800 for that purpose. With straights the 2k functions fine, but SE wedges are a it tougher so take quite long before they can move on to the 5k.

According to the lathercatcher: Panter Safety Razor, American Model, Made In Germany. Wedges are marked Panther. Funny thing: I got it from France.
