Beautiful Mike! Word on the street is that all the metal box sets are Jewels, all the single white clamshells are Streamlines, all the rectangular plastic boxes are Ambassadors and the double clamshell with the stropper is just "the New"...

Very nice! I love the look of these razors but not the way they shave (I know I'm one of the few).

Very nice! I love the look of these razors but not the way they shave (I know I'm one of the few). Count me in your group. I have never been shy to state that I personally don't care to use this razor. For me it is as maneuverable as an elephant on skates. It is truly one of those 'your mileage may vary' situations. They are a lovely hunk of metal though.

Never seen a elephant on skates, I don't like heavy razors at all, tried a lot of handles on my DE's and in the end settled for wooden handles, gives me much better results.

However, I find that by getting the right angle. the weight of the head does the work, and the handle can be used to make quite subtle movements on all planes of the face & neck. This morning have used one ,and even ATG was very smooth. Only drawback for me , is that perhaps it is too easy to use , and does not provide the challenge offered by razors like the OCMM / 1924 -both of which are amongst my favourites.

Very nice! I love the look of these razors but not the way they shave (I know I'm one of the few). Greetings You are certainly not alone! I find it a 'tricky razor' which is why I rarely shave with mine, when I say, tricky I mean angle sensitive. For me it is not a razor you can simply pick up and use with your mind in neutral or whilst deep in thought about anything other than shaving! Regards Dick.
