This one has the beveled cap. Am I right? Welcome to the "Brotherhood of the Beveled Cap". Nah, no such thing. You are a master at finding Dammies. That's funny. I just put a beveled cap on my OC Dammy. It really classed it up.

A lovely cased Valet VC1, which I got for a song on the Bay. I'm sure this will be a joy to shave with as it can use a de-spined GEM, one of my favourite blades. This will feature soon. Unfortunately I missed the bargain of a lifetime, from the same seller, an Ever Ready 1912 Sun Ray. It was described as a Vintage razor. It sold before I realised for a best offer of £5. Gutted is definitely an understatement.

I have been on the hunt for one of those for awhile. Great find! I think Possum got one from you.

From a member across the street. A veddy nice E2 with case and injector. A mostly full tub of D.R. Harris Arlington and some after shave samples. The soap sample is Barrister and Mann Cheshire. Both soaps have a nice scent. Congratulations!

Well, I was looking through Andrew's Shave Shop on Etsy again, and found not only did he have an MMOC for $10, but also sold 10 PTFE blades for $3, so I decided to go ahead and make the jump into the SE world on the deep end! It arrived today and I had one of my best shaves yet! It's not much of a looker, and the TTO mechanism could use some lubrication, but the important thing is it shaves like nothing else I've tried! The "bulldozer" as I call it seriously gave me a DFS in one pass, and was much more forgiving than I expected, even at somewhat steeper angles than are typically recommended. In fact, I am convinced more than ever that an "aggressive" razor is actually more gentle for me than a "mild" one, because it takes less repeated strokes over the same area to remove the same amount of hair.

Awesome write up. The Micromatic is a monster if your technique is off. It seems your is strong!

Veddy nice. That is the first one I have seen with the instructions on the cap I think.
