I used the Balsam Spice this morning with an unmentionable shave. However, the soap lathered easily and performed well. I am not much as describing scents, so I won't. It was a mild scent though. I just put one of the slivers in the bottom of my Old Spice cup and loaded the brush for about 20 seconds. Then I went to the face. It created a very nice lather. Tomorrow I will try the Lime Vetiver soap.

Today, I used the Lime Vetiver soap. I loaded it for 20 seconds and went to the face to lather. The soap lathers well, and i got a great shave, but I am beginning to wonder if some of the ingredients are not good for my face. I intend to try it for the rest of the week, but I may switch off to Williams if I determine that it is the soap. I ended my shave today with witch hazel to calm things down.

Who is next on the pass around? I will be coming back to the GMSS tomorrow. We'll see if I am sensitive to this one.

I am happy to report that it is not the Green Mountain soap that was giving me a fit last week. It was the Stetson AS. Here is a video of today's shave. It was a good one. I had to go back and reload my brush for the second pass, but I got a great shave. If I was loading from a full puck I am sure I would not have had that problem. The soap has a very light scent. It rinses clean very easily. I am ready to pass the soap along if I get the name from ordinaryshaver.

Should you decide to part with it, I know of a place in Texas that takes in any and all unloved Stetson..... For your convenience of course.😀
