Don't have an E2 but do have a E3 and like the shaves with it. A very nice razor
Aside from the designator, is there much or any difference in the way these razors shave? Would it be worth getting an E2?
Thanks for the info in advance

My Dad's E3 is as aggressive as an E2. You just have to watch your angle and pressure. They give great shaves when you get your technique down.

I have both an early E2 that opens for cleaning and an E3. The E3 is just slightly more aggressive then a G1 but the E2 is much more aggressive IMO.

I like the E2 better, smoother, more efficient (aggressive?). But, I have two E2's and they're very different from each other. One is smooth, comfortable and efficient. The other is a vicious, face ripping monster.

You talkin' 'bout Spike, aren't you? Spike? I refered to that E2 I sent you as Spike, onetime when you posted something about it being pretty aggressive....I got that from Alan. Alan piffed me a fire breathing GEM 1912, and said, " You have to keep Spike here on a short leash...he's been known to bite!! LOL!

My E2 cents. I will take my early E2 over any other E or G. Love the blade feel on it.

I can dig it...although I love my 2nd incarnation of the E2 equally asmuch: It has the same blade feel as my 1st Gen E2, only it doesn't open...But it is just as smooth and just as likely to bite...lol!! But I'm with you, I prefer both these E2's to any of my later E's F, G's etc.
