Moment of truth....here are two pics of my blades. Note the little squared out bulge at the right and left of the blade....does yours have that as well. I think it's what is catching on my Enders. View AttachmentView AttachmentSame . Shape anyway. Perhaps not exactly in dimension.

I just planned out next week's shaves. I will be using my Enders Speed Shaver on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I am going to use one of the piffed blades in it. I tried to load it, but it was a bit wide, so I got out a stone and honed down both edges a bit. Then it slipped right into place. So, we shall see how it shaves on Monday. I am doing an unmentionable on Tuesday and Thursday.

There are similar little tabs on the edges of my piffed Enders blades. Honing them down made it fit fine.

My preferred way now is with my modified Enders Carrier blade with the bumps. With it, I can load the blades simaltaniously. I show the bumps and then the backer blade that I super glued in. The bumps work great, but the backer blade eventually fell off with use. Sometimes the injector blade may be too long and is a tight fit. Great catch !!! Bravo.

I seem to be having an issue getting my Proline blade to fit into the blade slot....just seems a touch too wide. From Jmudrick's photo, it looks like the Prolines have that shape, so either mine is a millimeter too big, or my Enders has is a millimeter too small. Either way, I think I'm going to try honing down both sides of the Proline so it slides in easier, and I'll also hone down one of the PIF'd Enders blade. BTW, what are you using to hone them down. I have a cheapo 320 grit "diamond plate" -- it didn't cost much, so I question the "diamond part"....but aside from dulling an edge, I feel like it takes forever to remove much metal. Are you using a stone of some sort, or a dremel/bench grinder tool?

I understand about the Proline. It shouldn't take much to make it fit.

It's got to be me....I've lost count of the number of unsuccessful tries I've made. I'll take a time-out and try again with a different Enders razor and a new Proline. I'm pretty sure I've ruined the edge on the one I've been ramming, jamming, bowing, and dropping on the floor for the last dozen or so times *sigh* .

Your Proline looks like it has breathing room (not a lot, but some), I'll check how mine looks in that position and take a pic when I can.

Well, today's Enders shave was a little tuggy, but it ended up to be a very good shave. I took the time to strop the blade for Wednesday's shave. I have scheduled an unmentionable for tomorrow. So, I recorded the process. Enjoy.

I took the time to strop the blade for Wednesday's shave. Maybe some electrical tape could hold the spine. I have scheduled an unmentionable for tomorrow. Semel in anno, licet insanire.

I shaved with an unmentionable today, but I used the stropped Enders on one cheek. It was a definite improvemet over yesterday's shave. It was not as smooth and my unmentionable, but it was close. So, I did 25 laps on the linen and 30 on the leather to ready it for tomorrow's shave.

So I'm 99% sure the PIFd blades are not Enders. I had the same Enders blade sitting in my damp bathroom in Cambodia for two months with no evidence of rust. The PIF blade is showing rust after one day. The Enders Speed blade at the end of its national run in '57;was still labeled. Nice shave today, usual aggressive setting on the Enders.

Mine showed rust the next day too. I wonder what the real story on these blades is. The stropping helped mine out.

Williams Wednesday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Williams Mug Shaving Soap Jayaruh #144 Enders Speed Razor Enders Speed Blade CWR Florida Water My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 Brush. I did two passes with the Enders Speed Razor with an Enders Speed Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... The blade was not the smoothest, but it was much better than the first day. Stropping definitely helped. I have one more shave slated with this blade for Friday, then it is bye-bye.
