Second use of the Enders Speed Shaver. This time used an injector blade. What a difference... Great close and very comfy shave. Now I know what this razor is capable of. It's a keeper Beautiful picture, zeri. I should have taken my Speed Razor on our trip. Glad it is working out for you. Thank you my friend. It's revealing itself as a great razor.

It's a keeper I love that brush handle! Do you know if they sell that one fitted with as boar knot? Well, it's a fine looking handle indeed. One of the reasons I've bought it. It's a copper handle. As for the knots I believe it's only sold in Manchurian and Silvertip (as mine).

Playing around with Photoshop. Some of us play a just one August challenge, these are my tools for the month. It also allows getting more creative with the SOTDs, if your models are the same for a longer period. Very creative!

Traveling for work this week, so these are my tools until at least Friday. Hate to say it but I think I'll be keeping the One Blade. It's a crazy razor. I got four shaves on this blade. Shaved twice, flipped it in the razor and used it for two more shaves. It felt duller the last two shaves, but the crazy part is that the shave I got was just as good and close. ZERO irritation. The only thing of slight discomfort on the last two shaves was the blade felt a bit dull. I think using this as I am gets me two good shaves per blade and can be pushed further with no consequence to my skin. Though I only plan to shaves per blade. Not as cheap on consumables as some razors, but I can't find any fault with the shave.

I did not have any success finding an injector blade yesterday, so I had to settle for the aforementioned unmentionable. That being said, I had an excellent shave. I just wish I had the foresight to carry some extra blades with me on my trip. Lesson learned, especially when using injectors.

We don't seem to stock any kind of blades whatsoever here lol

I lucked out in a small town drug store that is off the beaten path when I found some recently.

August 7thMy 1911'ish Ever-Ready Lather Catcher sporting a Jayaruh handle and a GEM SS PTFE blade on its 10th shave. Soap was the very excellent LEA Professional Cream, which was beautifully lathered with a Jayaruh #270 brush (synth). The result was a DFS+ after 2 passes and a touch-up -- a nice day in the shave cave!!!
