Wed 21st August The Grosvenor [ 404 ]- mixed Williams Mug Soap Schick J3- Golden 500 Schick S/S Single-Japan [ 10 ] Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion After a few days of Twin Bladed Shaves moved back to a single blade. The blade was the current Japanese Schick, and it worked very well in the J3, very smooth with an excellent close all round finish.I am not sure if they are that much better than a "Chick" or Proline to justify the extra expense.

Gem Jr. w/baton handle + Gem Stainless blade Schick E3 + Personna blade Pal Injectomatic + Personna blade Omega 10066 boar brush Omega crema da barba Osage Rub/Witch Hazel with aloe/Viking Citron balm Daxton A/S
As y'all can see, this was an interesting shave and not a particularly good one either. Started with the Pal after I tried to do some repairs on it as it would not, and evidently still doesn't, hold the blade properly. Since that didn't work, I grabbed the E3. Must have buggered the blade when loading the razor cuz it hurt like crazy. So onto the Gem Jr. That one worked ok and I was finally able to finish the shave but due to all the hoo-haw, my face is not really happy. Oh well, there's always tomorrow. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Excellent picture of a beautiful razor and great products! Well done!!! Thank you, very kind. I'm really enjoying the Injectomatic. The vintage blade has particularly impressed me with its smoothness.

Head shave ...................... VDH Deluxe is a fav of mine for head shaves . Other than stopping to change blades I would call it a success story.

Thur 22nd Aug. RazoRock Syn. 24mm P & B Pall Mall Schick J3 - Golden 500 Schick Proline [ 5 ] Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion Today I had another shave with a J3, this one loaded with the AC Proline blade rather than the Japanese Schick Injector Blade. To be honest the the Shave was quite similar to yesterday, very smooth with a nice close all round finish. However, this blade on 5th use the one yesterday on its 10th outing - but there is a huge price difference to consider,

Friday August 23, 2019 Shaver: Stick Schick Injector Blade: Personna Preshave: Van Yulay Preshave oil Soap: RazoRock Green Label (A woody aromatic, fresh, clean and bold) Brush: Omega boar Post shave: Humphrey's witch hazel (now mentholated), Clubman Reserve Whiskey Woods (A smoky scent with whiskey, tobacco and woody notes) aftershave and Stirling Soap Agar beard oil Stick Schick Injector with a Personna blade was a good choice this morning. This shaver is a mild shaver in my opinion and gives comfortable shaves. No nicks, cuts, weepers or irritation , just a smooth shave. The RazoRock Green Label is similar to the "What The Puck" line of soaps in that it is a hard puck. It will take some effort to scrape some soap out of the container and place in a bowl for a bowl lather but lathers up quite easily. Now the RazoRock Green Label and the Clubman Reserve Whiskey Woods isn't an exact match but I thought they complimented each other, at least per my nose. Stay safe ad smooth shaves.

Friday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Palmolive Shaving Cream Jayaruh #206 TNNSER CVS CS CWR English Leather AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Palmolive Shaving Cream face lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 Brush. I did two passes with the TNNSER razor with a CVS CS SE Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Star 1912 style razor Gem Stainless blade Fine Classic brush Omega crema da barba Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Clubman Reserve Whiskey Woods A/S
OK shave. I've decided that, after a week's use, that the Omega SC is not on my favorites list. I'll do a review later. Now go enjoy your day folks
