Hi everyone.
First post.
I recently acquired one of these razors & my blade holder/magazine is in bad shape.
While trying to fix it the thing snapped.
Any ideas for a work around or alternative magazine etc?
I know you can load by hand but I kinda want the whole load it like a rifle malarky to work.

Here is mine. I only have one. jrshaving.blogspot.com/2015/12/schick-repeating-razor-type-c.htmlThe carrier shown empty. The carrier being loaded with a blade. The carrier inserted into the end of the razor handle. The blade plunger is pulled back. The blade is advanced by the plunger. The blade is fully advanced. The razor is ready to shave.

I can not help with the repair. I would guess you will have to hunt up a replacement part. Welcome to TOST by the way!!

I have found a spare one for sale.
I won't say where from but unfortunately it will cost we more than I paid for the razor to get it.
Also any idea why mine is black while we everyone else's is brass?

I considered maybe filing down some rough bent parts that were effecting blades releasing up & out.
Then maybe try to solder it together. But aim to have the solder on the inside where the blades sit so it will only effect how many blades I can add.....

Thanks for the welcome everyone Jayaruh Do you get any issues loading your c type? Modern blades are a bit thinner than original repeater blades. I have not had occasion to change blades that much. It is still a bit tricky. However, once started, it works great.

First off...welcome to the community.
I do not have the razor, but I do have a War Package replacement carrier that my kids got for my birthday a couple of years ago. I think that is why your carrier is black, like the one I have, and the originals are brass.
