I almost pulled the trigger on a OneBlade Core today for under $22 shipped. I had it in the cart and all the info filled out, and then I said to myself, "Self, you don't need this razor. You don't even like FHS10 blades, and who wants to modify Gems all the time when you can use a Gem in innumerable outstanding razors that you already possess." So, I went back a few pages and emptied the cart. That was a close call. I guess if someone gave me one, I might take it, but I think I am basically through acquiring razors.

Whew, that was a close one. Glad you didn't. That would have been grounds for an immediate bricking!

Today, biggest surprise in my wetshaving journey: a safety razor fully CNC machined in Damascus steel !!! The first of a new species ... for now (and I think forever) a custom made one-of-a-kind jewel. Now I know because God gave us two kidneys.

The OneBlade Core, surprised me because it works differently from most safety razors in that a bit of pressure is needed. I was sure I was sending it back and then I learned how to use it. I've taken it upon myself to see how many shaves I can get out of a blade, though blades were just on sale and I jumped on that. I will not despine and punch Gem blades to make them fit. My futziness limit is snapping unmentionable (Fred was here) blades in two and I'm not even fond of that, but the shaves are good.
The TNNSER surprised me on how efficient and smooth it is. It is my best SE when you combine both those things. I have one unmentionable that is as efficient and smooth.

Virtually all of my experiences with vintage SE's have been fantastic. The one exception will be an unpopular opinion here, but I find the Gem Micromatic to be a lackluster shaver for me. I still use them occasionally as I have several variations in my collection. The OC, CC, Bullet-tip...none of them really give me irritation or an uncomfortable shave per-say. I just have plenty of SE's that provide a much better shave for me. That may change over time but for now I just find them too mild generally.
