Hey, you gents that know he did the right thing and went to the mall. After all we gave him all of the excuses he needed and he had us to blame. If he can't blame folks his wife will never meet, who can one blame?

Sorry not to have gotten back here sooner but had some busy days at work. Yes....I went to the mall. I thank my lucky stars that Tom was there in my hour of need to enable me. I did not see a black and white EverReady 100, but found some other items that I "Had to have". I got two GEM Juniors for $5 each. They are both gold tone and are in excellent shape. I like the juniors for camping and traveling. I found another "Goldilocks" razor in a nickel plated case with a purple plush interior. It too is in great shape; $10. Two pucks of Safari shave soap; 2 bucks each. These still have the scent to them. The Safari smells great, made in USA, tallow based, and performs like the old vintage soaps that I love. And last but not least Bryce will be pleased to know that I found another gold tone CPMM to replace the one that recently passed away; 6 bucks. So all in all a pretty good day. The heat has let up here quite a bit so I was able to get the garage squared away last night.
Once again, thanks to all for your support in helping me get my priorities straight.
Alan
Forgot to mention that I also found a nice spincast fishing reel and a rod to fit it. $8.00 !!

Wow!! You batted 1000....Congrats my man!! Is the 'Goldilocks' razor that Gem 1924...with a curved top plate similar to the Damaskeene?

It actually has a beveled top, but shaves like it has the curved top. I already have one so I stuck it in your package. Just waiting on you to give the word to send.

The GEM '24 is a mighty fine razor alright! Definitely "just right" IMO.

Yes, much nicer than cleaning garage. I forgot to mention I saw one of Jeff's (stljeff)white frogs. I saw it when I first walked in and forgot to go back and get it. It said "Listerine Shaving Cream" or some such on the bottom.

Yes....yes...that makes sense. I think I'm better now. Good thing you were there Tom, I was starting to writhe around on the floor like that girl in Reefer Madness. +1 +1 +1 +1
