Very nice! And, to answer your question, yes they came with an "automatic stropping machine". Here is an ad from a 1917 Saturday Evening Post that shows combination no.2 in the bottom left, Waits also shows it as well. It's kind of small but if you enlarge the ad it's a bit easier to read. The set sold for $3.

Well, you might not have gotten the automatic stropping machine but you got the 1914! It's not in bad shape you will patch up the case in no time half of my cases are in bad shape. From what I understand since your 1914 razor has small blade stops it is an earlier model mine is a later model. Good thing you got the instructions I don't see many razors with the instructions enclosed. Enjoy!
