Kevin can surely find the pretty ones. I'm beginning to think Lather Catchers grow on trees up in Canada.

Here are some pics of a New Gem lather catcher that I picked up. I believe these were made 1901-1905 I like the white handle although it does show some age. Greetings This razor has to be the most elegant looking safety razor ever made, I am unable to comment on the way it shaves but it it is the 'Miss World' of razors. Alan commented on the fact that razors must grow on trees in Canada and I am starting to believe this is the case. You could drive the length and breadth of the UK checking out every antique store and charity shop and end up with (if you were fortunate) a Gillette Tech and a Rolls Razor with a broken stone! Regards Dick.

Dick,
I would like to make a trade with you for that stunning lather catcher. First I offer a great wife. Mature gal but looks and acts much younger and she loves to wait on me and would do the same for you.
Included are a bright mid-30's daughter with a great job and a husband with a better job. Will take care of you if you come upon hard times. And they have the cutest grand daughter who would just melt your heart.
Now if we make this deal I would expect you to pay the shipping as I am giving up a lot you know.
Now all trading ideas aside I am just kidding you. That is just a great looking razor and I am sure that it will serve your shaving needs for many, many years to come. Enjoy it!
