I received a PM from Tom a few days ago he asked for my address and was going to send me a little something. During the last few days I wondered what it could be. Now here is something very ironic. For the last few weeks I have been contemplating getting a Schick injector razor. Admittedly, I am very ignorant about Schick injectors and I'm really lost about understanding the difference between each model. Every weekend (when I have the most free time) I look into scoring an injector razor, I keep putting it off not knowing what to getl. Today I came home from a rainy day at work. In my mailbox was Tom's package. I walked quickly into the house to see what was in the package. I couldn't believe Tom had sent me a Schick injector razor and injector razor blades! Wow, the Schick razor is in very nice condition and the blades are impossible to find in my area. This was a nice surprise to a dark cold rainy day. I am going to try the Schick soon it sure feels like a smooth performing razor. I mainly collect razors above all other shaving gear. My new Schick razor will be a great addition to my other razors. Thanks to Tom I finally attained a Schick injector razor. All of the members on the forum have been kind and very helpful to me. I have been learning a lot here and have seen how generous everyone is. Thank you Tom for going out of your way and for the nice gift.

You're most welcome, hope you like it! Just be sure and don't use the blade that's in it, I "stropped" it about 25 times across a brick to dull it, makes it easier to load a new blade when there's an old one in the razor.

I love this new razor and highly appreciate your time and effort. I have watched videos on how to load the blade and didn't know it was easier to load a new blade with an old one already installed. I have a lot to learn about injectors. Thank you.

Brian, yes, compared to a lot of places out there these forums are a tight knit respectable community. Rich, anything is possible. I was about to use the Schick injector this Saturday when I have the most free time. Of course I knew I wasn't going to be able to wait so I tried out the razor this morning. Now keep in mind I know zilch about injectors even though from what I read they can be very mild to aggressive. I have to admit that by in general this type of razor looks similar to me the only difference I can see is the handle design. Of course this is only what I see by sight not by actual use. The injector Tom gave me is very mild in fact it's as gentle as an Edwin Jagger DE89. The razor even reminded me of a smooth combo that I use and that's a Gillette Red Tip with an Astra SP blade. Yes, I actually find the Red Tip to be mild and smooth! The Schick was a breeze to use in fact I can use it for quick easy shaves. I placed it in my mild razor section, I actually divide my razors by their performance from mild to aggressive. Now that I finally used an injector I can't believe I used to cast them aside as vintage cart types. Tom made a wise choice this razor didn't chew my face off it proved to be a mild and thorough shaver. I like the unique injector Schick blades, they are sharp easy to load. These blades don't waste a lot of material. Most SE blades are thick and big with only the sharp edge that's of use. All in all it was a smooth quick shave!

Yes, it went mild and smooth. Due to my tiny knowledge of injectors I believe that this is a G1 model. She will be used for my quick shave days and is now part of my SE razor collection. Nice!

birdlives, with a little bit of polish it shined her right up she looks minty. Hey coolbus18! I now see why you like injectors a lot. A long while back I didn't know what metal polish to use that would not strip the finish of my razors. Tom suggested SimiChrome I've used it on all of my razors they all look brand new.
