Man these Repeaters are just too cool for school...Col. Schick was so far ahead of his time with this one, nobody has caught up yet... This could have been Buck Rodgers' 'Go To'....

Yes, these old Schick repeaters are built like tanks. I love very old razors which is why I am heavily drawn to lather catchers. Buck Rogers huh ...

It is great to see these beautiful razors be put through their paces. It is a lot of fun shaving with these early models!

They are cool looking razors, but they did have some serious limitations when it came to ease of operation which quickly led to the invention of the separate blade dispenser.

Wayne, yes, part of the love for these vintage razors is the fun factor, history, nostalgia and the admiration of their craftsmanship. I love knowing that I am shaving with such a relic!
Tom, now with the experience I had with the B2 I agree. I'm glad they jumped ship to the new Schick cartridge but some folks may not agree. The great thing is that I was able to finally use it with a sharp modern blade.
Not that it matters but I finally shaved with the B2. Being experienced with a variety of aggressive razors I have to say that it's actually mediocre in aggressiveness. I could feel the blade close to the skin. The B2 gave me a good comfortable shave. Yes, it is a tad aggressive where I had to watch my angle and pressure on the upper lip but that's about it.
Definitely, my other more modern injectors gave me an extremely mild shave compared to the B2. I would recommend the B1/B2 but it's not as comfortable as the later models it's still a solid performer!

Nice to hear from you again Rich. Thanks Drumz. I have been traveling a lot visiting my oldest daughter with the misses. In a couple of weeks we are traveling to Morgantown, WV, to see my son graduate from WVU with a BS in civil engineering.
