I can get the Casa de Garcia cigars local so I have been smoking them the most. They are about $2 each. I love to smoke more expensive cigars but can not afford to. Anyone else tried them??

Yes they are. That is my preferred country of origin for cigars. Good and cheap. The maduro's are awesome for the price.

I have not tried those. I usually fall back to my favorites, Serie V by Oliva and Diesel Unholy Cocktail, which are consitently great smokes with Evan Williams Honey.

Heyyy, bite your tongue; those Garcias are the good stuff too, they just come with a lower price tag...but they are rolled on the same tables by the same people who roll the Monticristos.... ENJOY!

I couldn't agree more. Some of the most disappointing cigars I have had are from the upper end of the price spectrum. I have been generally well pleased by some of the least expensive cigars; especially the house brand from local shop, ovtc.com/cigar.html.

I prefer the casa de garcia over the house brand here. For a nice cheap every day smoke I have been picking up factory throw outs. The #59 sweet is a good one. I also get the Fuente curly head deluxe at times. A nice medium filler.

I am still rocking the CDG maduros. Very nice smokes still under 3 bucks a stick.

I tried the red label and was disappointed. A local guy from a cigar forum suggested to try the blue label only. Luckily, I was able to find them at a local liqour chain, but was also quite disappointed. But, I will admit the price was good at $3. Although, I wish it delivered on flavor better. I've also tried the #49, #59 & #99 extensively and they were grosser. The best cheap smoke I've found was the C&C maduro ($2.50), sadly they've discontinued them at the end of 2016.
BTW, where can you find CDGs? I'm in Houston,TX. I'll take all the under $3 suggestions you guys can offer.

I smoke the Maduros almost daily. Then again I smoke a lot of the throw out you mentioned. Mostly the #59 sweet.

I passed on the blue label Nicaraguan Casa de Garcia due to the Guage sz was immense, and I don't do well with late guarantee szs. But, may retry factory throw outside churchills. I don't think I've ever tried the sweets. But, can't beat the prices! They're still under $2 @ our local liquor store chain.

Yup about $2.75 a stick here. The maduro CdG I smoke are from DR. Very smooth actually.
