I know some of you cats are aware of how much I missed having the Root Beer option while in Turkey....Well since I've been back I've been making up for lost time, and digging my Root Beer daily... And here in Seattle some of these wonderful Micro Breweries also make killin' Root Beer....This Summer I'll be in Black Cow heaven...ha,ha,ha...

I like Guinness and I like gin ... all year round, but for a laze in the summer sun, a long G&T with fresh mint from the garden. Lovely job! I do like Ginger Beer, which is quite different to Root Beer, and will often have a bottle of the better brewed stuff on its own. Good old 'Old Jamaican' with cheap rum, otherwise Again, fresh mint and lime. Mrs always pulls out the Pimm's, come springtime. Practically a meal in itself with orange, strawberry and cucumber all in there.

Greetings
I like Gin and Tonic in the warmer months and Whiskey and Soda in the winter, I am not much of a beer drinker.
Regards Dick.

My wife makes a dy-no-mite Mojito.....with fresh limes, crushed ice, lemon soda, fresh mint leaves, and Havana Club 7 year old...that definitely helps to beat the heat...

I like Junior Johnson Moonshine blueberry and strawberry varieties. Coupled with a favorite cigar, summer breeze and Junior's on ice makes a summer evening for me.

Gin & Tonic is the summer drink as far as I'm concerned. With fever tree tonic and a fresh lime and ice.

I like water ... and drink buckets of the stuff!
Likewise, I'm not a big "soda" fan, soda to Brits is just fizzy water, so Campari & Soda is Campari and fizzy water, very bitter. When I do have a sugary drink, I like a proper sugar (not sweetener) and take it as a treat.
