I use this as my main razor. I rest the head flat with the skin. I put a light pressure.
I suggest to those starting out with this razor to do a single pass over an area with no pressure. You should have nothing cut. Next slowly increase pressure until the razor cuts hair. If you keep this pressure level as you shave your face the razor should give a smooth close result. The instruction in the file work very well.

But we always joked with him that he merely couldn't figure it out! : ) They can be excellent razors. Some folks just don't like them and they can take a little getting used to. They are no nonsense razors and if used carelessly can leave a kiss.
