Very nice CB! I too scored a NOS Injectomatic with the red dummy blade. It's like they were made just for us eh?

I have one of those. I am keeping it mint since I have a user. Love the looks of it.

Good going CB. I like how you compared both Injectomatic versions along with detailed photos. The most important difference is how the British version shaves compared to the American version. Keep us posted about your opinion when you had the chance to use the British Injectomatic. I own two Injectomatics and have been nicked by each it's a great injector though!

Great post, Alan. You might be interested to know that there were two types of British PAL Injectomatics. One is like yours, and the other one is exactly like the American model. I have both, and they both deliver excellent shaves. They feel a little different in the hand because of the different angle between the head and handle, but they shave identically. It only took a couple of strokes to get used to the black-handled one.

Greetings To further complicate matters with Brit./US PAL Injectomatics. I have this model; it is a Brit. model but I was unable to photo the Made in Gt. Britain stamp as it is tucked up right inside the head. You will see that it has the USA style spring and the safety bar has both striations lengthwise and vertically and it appears that it started out with the vertical marks and the longitudinal ones have been stamped on the top. The main difference with this model is the handle, which is very similar to some of the Schick injectors. I like the handle slightly more on this model than my USA model but have noticed zero difference in the shave. The underside of the plastic case it came in has made in England moulded into the plastic whereas my USA model has:- Designed and Manufactured by the PAL Blade company Inc, New York, Made in U.S.A. moulded into the plastic case. The US case is blue and the Brit. case white. The instruction leaflet that was in with the razor shows a picture of the flat handled USA model on it but the Guarantee section states Ever Ready Razor Products (Pal Division) London N.W.9 It appears to me a standard leaflet for the US model with the London Company address! I think we have a similar situation here to many of the ASR SE razors, the company was I believe 100% USA owned and many of the parts were I suspect simply shipped to the UK from the states perhaps as blanks to be finished in Britain and for some strange reason, perhaps for legal reasons or some corporate policy the razors had to be seen to be 'different'. The real and actual differences which might be interesting if you are a collector, from a shaving perspective, are IMHO, an irrelevance. Regards Dick.

Super find. That head sure is interesting and the handle is quite nice . All aside the Injectomatic is a great razor and gives me a shave that's equal to the efficiency of the E's. Enjoy that beauty!

I am a fan of these. I have a black handle British model. Never has been used I think. I am thinking I will use my US model for my next Williams shave.

Excellent photos, Dick. It is beginning to look like the Injectomatics were a lot more varied than we ever expected.
