Friday 2/16: Razor: Schick Injector G1 Blade: NOS US-made Schick Brush: Dollar Store Boar brush Lather: Godrej Deluxe Lather Cream Post: Alum, Aloe Vera Gel Results: BBS. Pleasantly surprised with a collection of "bench-warming" (for me) items. They were all better than I recalled or expected. Cool when that happens!

Saturday morning:
Hot towel face prep Vitos SIS Semogue 610 boar V. AutoStrop VC1 Feather blade (5) handcrafted bay rum
Awhile back I got to thinking about SE blade longevity, took a Ted Pella blade to 18 shaves, and was amazed. In DE configuration I love Feather blades, but I only get 2, maybe 3 good shaves from one before I can it. I assumed the SE version was the same, and canned them after 2 shaves as well. But my test with the GEM blade and my thinking about why they last so long prompted me to try for more shaves from the Feather SE. Right now the blade shows no signs of stopping and today was #5.
Another fantastic BB shave; 2 1/3 passes did it.
