Lovely set.....
According to Waits Compendium the Ever Ready Lather Catcher was manufactured from 1904 until 1914......The last model being the 1912-1914......
I have one that is identical to yours and I think its the Later 1912-1914 model....The 1912 -1914 model is similar to the 1911-1912 model...The case design and layout you are displaying would fit the bill the for the Later 1912-1914 Model. ''>
I really enjoy the Lather Catchers .....They are fantastic shaving tools after a wee bit of practice and perseverance.......I find that the Ever Ready Lather Catcher to be more aggressive than the GEM Junior G Bar Lather Catcher....
I personally find that on a first pass with a Heavy Growth of Whiskers the Ever Ready can feel a tad tuggy/rough especially, if the shaving angles not spot on, but we've got to remember that the original blades were more rigid than the current GEM Blades.....These are fantastic BBS shaving tools that's for sure and so much fun to use.......I am in love with mine.......
Have Fun....

Beautiful set - it looks almost new! I agree with Billy - it is the 1912-1914 model. I believe that my own set, pictured below, is the 1911-1912 model. Note the difference in the logo, the case itself, and the wooden (it was called "ebonoid") handle. I too find it to be more aggressive than the Gem Lather Catchers, and considerably less aggressive than a Star Kampfe LC. I"ve seen the term "industrial art" used to describe these razors, and I think it is apt. --Bob

Hi Bob Yeah, it would appear, according to Waits, anyway that yours is an early 1911-1912 Set and that they made the transition to a light alloy Stropping handle in that same year and then brought in the 1912-1914 set with the same alloy handle in a different case set as above..... Lovely sets.....

Thanks, gentlemen. The detailing on this razor is remarkable; my wife even took notice. I look forward to trying it soon.
