Gem MMCP Gem SS/PFTE Blade (9) Made-Rite 500 PB Brush Nivea Cream Barbasol Pacific Rush
It's been quite a while since I fired up the Clog Pruf. It was great to get back to it for a change. I had a nice shave - maybe not as close as with the OCMM but very comfortable.

- lPrep: Hot towel and shower
- Brush: ER 89 Boar
- Soap: TSD English Fern
- Razor: '24 ER
- Blade: Ted Pella PTFE coated GEM (shave 3)
- A/S: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel Toner and AS Lavender ASB
- Result: Wonderful BBS shave of 3 day old whiskers. The ER was as expected in need of an extra shake when rinsing because of the excess water in the head. But it was still fun to break out this little used SE for a change.

- Razor: '73 Stick Schick Injector
- Blade: Ted Pella PTFE coated injector (shave 3)
- A/S: Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner & Clubman Club Complete ASB

Sunday, February 26, 2012 Prep: Hot shower; Yardley bath bar Lather: Old Spice (Thanks Andy!) - face lather Brush: Simpson's Commodore X2 Razor: Schick E2 Blade: Ted Pella (1); 3 passes Post: Cold water rinse; Krampert's Finest Bay Rum The Old Spice soap from MrGuy's vintage soap PIF is simply sublime. I can't believe it works this well & still has some scent to it. It was very easy to lather though next time I'll try to get some more water into it. Not as slick as I think it can be, but what a wonderful creamy lather.

Gem OCMM Gem SS/PFTE Blade (1) Burma-Shave Boar Brush Vintage Colgate Soap (thanks Andy!) Vi-Jon Ivy Club Spice
I had the pleasure of using the vintage Colgate shaving soap that Andy (Mr Guy) so graciously PIF'd me. I'm really fond of this stuff! It was very slick and produced a lather vastly superior to that which I've been getting from Williams of late. The Colgate will be in my rotation until it's gone but before that happens, I plan on latching onto a few pucks myself. I see that it's readily available on some of the auction sites (for a premium price, of course).
