So I revisited the LLC thanks to this thread and my newly acquired Town Set case: When I first encountered the ER 1914 a few years ago, I didn't like it and found it difficult to get a good shave around the jawline - it was much choosier about angles than I was then used to. But through the magic of time and practice all that has changed and no I LOVE THE ER 1914!! There's lots of blade feel and it's a punchy but well balanced experience for me now - the Shovelhead's still the smoothest and the Streamline's still the classiest but the ER 1914 has got to be the most fun. For me with some razors it's love at first shave (Empire, ER 1924, Cobra Classic) but with this and the Streamline my initial disdain has turned into real appreciation... There's got to be a lesson in that somewhere! Well said....Bravo and Whoot! .....Very astute and you nailed it.....I plan on plagerizing some of this....and probably often....}8^))

Well... I liked the 1914 enough to buy another one. It cleaned up pretty well, but there's a rust stain where a blade must have been for a while. I was able to get most of the stain off, but what is normally used? I've seen lime juice, etc. Joe
