Smokers Pride - Cherry Cavendish. My first pipe tobacco that isn't menthol. Choices are slim in my area.

A bowl of G&H American Vanilla in the short straight Falcon with a smooth Genoa bowl. This week has seen my bowl packing vastly improve. I am now getting a slower, even burn, no tongue bite and more flavour from the smoke. 1 happy piper here.

I finished off the trial 25g of American Vanilla earlier in the Peterson Donegal Rocky 80S, very nice. I rubbed out a bowlful of G&H Jamaican flake (rum) and am currently on with that in the Standard straight Falcon fitted with the smooth Genoa bowl, I like this one. Very smooth, tasty and a slow even burn. T

Just finished a bowl of Gentlemans choice in the Newly acquired, restored, English made Jobey Brentwood 145. The seller has done an excellent job of restoring it, like a new pipe. Smoked really well, cool and dry. The Gentlemans choice is becoming my go to daily mix.

Mixture No. 79 in a MM cob. It is perhaps the pipe-smoking equivalent of Lilac Vegetal. Somewhat perfumey, but decent for an aromatic blend.

Just opened a 100g tin of Peterson Founders Choice. It filled the small kilner jar to the top and 2 pipe bowls, 1st time use of a Cubed tobacco and i find it packs easily enough, fired up the Churchwarden "prince" and it seems very nice, i also filled a Falcon Bent with Rustic Dublin bowl to have later. Seems a very nice slow burner with plenty of flavour and a bit sweetness. So i have 2 Tobaccos on the go at present, i don't really want to open more than that for now.

Started the day with a bowlful of Petersons Founder's Choice in the Rocky 80S, I like this cubed tobacco, slow burning mellow and very tasty with sweet and savoury flavours. On with a bowlful of Sam Gawiths Best Brown Flake in the Petersons Rustic 314. I have cube cut the flakes and rubbed a bit out, i am still learning with flaked tobacco's. Quite nice.
