Lane Limited Ready Rubbed during the day. A bowl of Dunhill Nightcap to finish the evening. The nightcap is a Latakia-Perique blend? It is heavy on those two, but it does have some oriental and Virginias in the blend.

I finished off 1st tin of Rattrays Hal o the Wynd in the Peterson's 80S, I enjoyed that one and will get more on my next order. Opened a jar of G&H Amercam Plum Rum. A bowlful in a Falcon bent with a Rustic Dublin bowl. After a few weeks being on the "Standard" types going back to Aromatics, I think I am getting a bit tongue bite, is this the norm? T

MATCH Revelation for today. This is one of my favorite all day blends. For me, it hits all the notes perfectly. Just the right amounts of nutty burley, smoky Latakia, bright Virginia and Perique for the kick. I’m not sure what small amount of fruit is encased but it reminds me of plum.

I am going to try different packing methods, it may be too loosely packed. This morning i opened a pack of Gawith & Hogarth Kendal Jamaican Flake, it used to be called Rum Flake, advertising laws stopped that. I like this one and no Bite. T

Tried Sutliff Bourbon and Emerald Isle today. The bourbon was a lightly sweet black Cavendish. Not bad. Mellow. The Emerald Isle...wow. felt like I smoking autumn leaves on fire with a peppery taste. Lol

Amphora Virginia this morning, and an American Viking (i.e., Cigars Daily) Rico Borato mixed-filler Connecticut. Easy-going smokes for a warm, laid-back Saturday. The cigar is sweeter than expected, almost as though the tip were sweetened.

On with a jar of G&H Kendal Jamaican (Rum) Flake in a Falcon Bantam with a Rustic Bulldog bowl. Got 3 on the go at present MSS Gentlemans choice G&H American Delite (their take on Lane 1Q) Jamaican flake. All nice. Mix n match pipes but seem to be reaching for the Falcons a lot.

Started the day with a bowl of John Bull Royal English. Paired that with a cup of Yorkshire Red. All that was missing were cars driving on the wrong side of the road...
