I have a habit of splashing on a lite scent before I sleep. Something like pinaid lime sec. Anyone else do this?

Yes, but for a different reason. I daub a bit of Cryogen aftershave on my moustache before bed. The massive amount of menthol in Cryogen keeps my sinuses open. --Bob

I also enjoy that aswell....It started with a nice Turkish Lavanda Colonia, that was very popular in Istanbul...Rebul Lavanda, it's a Classic thats been popular since the Ottoman Times...And my pharmacist told me, it helped him sleep, so I splashed one night...Loved it....some folks spray a little on their pillows... That opened my mind to it...so now I enjoy different light scents for sleeping.....can't imagine a heavy scent at bedtime.... Pinauds would be nice for this....maybe not the VEG, but the Clubmans.....If I woke up smelling the Veg, my reflexes might have me frantically checking the sheets for an accident, if I didn't remember splashing... Although I do like the Veg, when I'm out and about...!

For me it would be either some Lavender cologne, Pinaud Citrus Musk/Lime Sec or 4711 cologne.

I agree the veg is not a sleepy time scent. Unless maybe your in the Hungarian calvery sleeping arpund your mount. Sounds like a good way to keep breathing Spidey. Woo.

Bob if you like to do that get some eucalyptus oil from a natural food store or health food store. Put that on your 'stache. You'll recognize the smell instantly... Vicks VapoRub.

I have a guilty secret ... occasionally, it's a spritz of Dana Tabu!

Regularly, I'll apply an attar to my wrists before bed ... very heady. Usually something amber based.

I don't know if this link is still good...I've never used it myself, but it's a Turkish Product Online Store in Canada...Try it and let me know..Because of the alcohol, it's better if you can get it there... www.turkishbazaar.ca/product/turkish-rebul-lavanda-lavender-eau-de-cologne-lavanta-kolonyasi-parfum-270ml-lavender-eau-de-cologne-lavanta-kolonyasi-waterloo-kitchener-richmond-kingston-gatineau-burlington-halifax/They have other scents, but it's the Lavanda Colonia that started the company and goes all the way back to the Ottoman Empire...It was legendary...and hasn't changed or reformulated...It's a very light and heavenly lavender... In Turkey, when people come in to your house you always offer them a splash...It's very refreshing...During the Summer I would keep it in the freezer and it was a great cooling splash...It's high quality but very inexpensive, so folks use it all the time...

So if they offer to douse you with scent you're not supposed to get offended? LOL!

That is very cool. I jumped on it right away, and they have Arko so I thought I'd go for that too, but the shipping cost is significantly more than the cost of a large cologne and two Arkos, so I am going to exercise my Scottish imperative and think about it for a tad. Really interesting site though. I will keep picking through and see which way the wind drifts. Thnx Bird!

My wife is into essential oils so each night I get a different scent in a diffuser at bedtime. So far I like Lemongrass/Eucalyptus combo. Nice
