I have noticed the shout box does not get used much. Also it does not keep post very long. In its place we have The Seinfeld thread. No real focus here. Kind of like a random group conversation. So feel free to join in. I will kick it off.
Back at work. My Friday tonight with the weekend off. Go Fuzzy!!!

Im off tomorrow as well. Unfortunately itll be spent sitting in the auto shop. There is no such thing as a cheap Jag... but it turns heads like no other and looks and drives like new.

I am off work this weekend. That means this weird sleep schedule kicks in. Gotta love being a confirmed bachelor.

I worked Southern Swing for a few years... weird sleep schedule? I didn't know if it was night or day, what day it was, I even lost track of what month it was. Before that 3 on , 3 off, and it alternated night/day. That was better than S'Swing. After I learned about circadian rhythm and how to let it help me. But coming off of nights was always horrible.
My present schedule is much nicer... retired and normal sleep/awake hours.

Yeah. Taking a nap just ruined my nights sleep and just put off what had to be done. Going cold turkey meant I'd get the acid runs from the coffee required. Coming off of nights got worse as I got older until I finally took a pay cut to get a day job.

I took the night shift Sergeant slot so they will not move me LOL But I still cover a day shift when needed. The over time makes up for the struggle with light and all.

I absolutely LOVED straight nights and my counterpart loved days. For a few times I had straight nights an he had straight days. But my wife hated me being on all nights so they wouldn't last very long. A month at most before she had enough of it.

Always having to go do things. Life moves along though.

Went to MS Sunday afternoon. Just a quick up and back trip to visit my Mom's grave. It was good to see the old stomping grounds. Several maduro cigars and some perique for the pipe made it even better.

Veddy nice, I have never messed with the flake or anything, I need to expand my pipe knowledge I think.

We're in our rainy season where the warm moist air from the south collides with the cold air from the north. The south will eventually win but it takes time. What I'm trying to write is that we've had a great deal of rain in the last 2 weeks. I think I'm beginning to grow oily feathers.
