That's the brush I was mentioning before . Its identical to my Dads that I just restored with the home made knot. I dipped it in fiberglass resin and it filled the cracks in. Any idea what kind it is? Dads was originally red and white but no name to be found.

I'm in the same boat . No one seems to remember when or where he got it . If you mix up a bit of fiberglass resin and dip your handle on it it should fix the cracks . Mine is performing great . I have more pics of the restore if you want to see what I did . Wasn't hard and really turned out well. Getting the old knot out was a bit hard but then again that was the first time I ever tried to remove one . Feels good to preserve a family heirloom and be able to carry on the tradion .

Feel free to post the finished handle.
