They just keep getting better and better! What is the brand of the brush? I'll have to recheck that when I get a chance. It doesn't say Ever-Ready on it. It has "Made In England".

The Baron shows us once again his ability to strike with deadly force. An absolutely beautiful set, William. Thank you very much. As far as I've been able to tell, the Streamline Travel set is one of the rarest of the Streamline sets. Now if I could just locate one of the "old" type Streamlines.

HT - Very sorry for taking so long. Just been busy with work. (Inventory and then switching to nights schedule.) The brush has no markings on it. I find that odd, since I would think ER would just pop in one of their own brushes for the set. (Maybe the original has been replaced? Maybe the set just used an unmarked ER brush exclusive to the travel set.) It only says "Made in England", "Sterilized", and "Pure Badger" on the side. On the bottom is a black sticker that says the same thing. (The sticker on the bottom leads me to believe that the brush was never used. Indeed, upon close examination of the set, I believe it to be completely unused. The head of the razor is without scratches or any flaws, as are the canisters that are in the set. (One of which is stamped on the bottom with "Made in England" "Chromium plated". I hope that helps out in any way. If you have further questions, feel free to ask. Nothing I love more than talking about Streamlines/Jewels. ***Small side note. Usually, I access this site on my phone and did not notice that my title was changed. Good one!

Been a little while since I used mine for some reason so I decided to put an end to that this morning with a fresh GEM Blue Star blade and vintage Williams soap. What a remarkable razor.

Hi there, I'm a newbie to the forum, but SE razors... Here's my little stash of Streamlines for your delectation... Pretty lucky to have managed to get my hands on these three beauties. Nice to be here, nice to meet you all. Jon

Are you finding any of these razors in the wild Jon? As you and I don't live that far away from each other (relatively speaking) I'm wondering if there's some fantastic antiques shop I'm missing out on!

Very nice collection! While I'm on record as saying the 1912, especially the early GEM Cutlery models, is the best razor ever designed, the Streamline is easily my favorite razor because it shares many of the 1912's traits.

I picked up one of these from a member of another forum, but the two other sets were eBay purchases. One I think was mis described and I managed to pick it up for a pretty decent price. MK is not the place for antique shops, alas. I spend a lot of time in Worcester which is full of antique shops and I have picked up a few pieces there, but they are few and far between to be honest.

Have been SE shaving just over a Year, and after finding this Forum went for a Streamline. Like many I was hooked and loved it. Decided not to go the injector way, and stick with ER/Gem & early Star. Not too sure why, but have not been able to resist the Streamline/Ambassador, so in the opinion of SWMBO I have too many. [photo attached ]. Took one away at the weekend ,for my first SE shave outside my Home. Hotel Bathroom good, had a great shave. Fortunately, I seem to have peaked on Razor purchases, and feel no urge to go for Brushes, simple After Shaves suffice, as they are a modern trend for someone of my advanced years. Though i admit I have one for special occasions, probably past it`s shelf life, but to me smells OK.

Great heap of Streamlines you have there! They are not going to lose value so if you are going to push the limits with the SWMBO, this is a great model to do that with!
Thnx for the post. It is always great to have new goodies to view.

Shaved with original 1930s Streamline (with the big cut outs) this morning. I was keen to make the comparison with the 1950s Streamline but to be honest there is nothing in it - both razors are equally aggressive and equally smooth. The 1950s version is heavier and has more blade feel but thats it. Everyone's a winner...
