The first modern razor designed specifically for the GEM blade to go on sale and I couldn't resist. It will be shipped Tuesday so I hope to have it before this time next week.

Nice looking razor. You simply must let us know how well (or not)it works.

I've also got one on the way. I was undecided on the Rocnel and they sold out before I could make up my mind, so I didn't want to miss out on this one.
The ATT model is supposed to be out by the end of the week, so we will have went from no modern Gem style SE's to 3 in almost no time.
I own or have owned ATT and Rocnel razors, but I'm only familiar with Blackland by reputation, so this should be interesting.

Smooth & efficient. Hefty, but well balanced.

I've used it three times and the last one was much much better than the previous. Similar to what I experienced with the Gillette Tech: first couple of shaves it felt extremely mild but once I got the angle right, both of these razors give a very nice, efficient and smooth shave. I hope that is the case.

Three days and three shaves with the Sabre. Today I didn't get nearly as close of a shave and my skin has been irritated all day long. The odd part is that even though I can feel the stubble, I look much closer shaved and my skin doesn't appear irritated.
I'm a little confused by this. More than likely I'll be using my OneBlade for the next couple of shaves before giving the Sabre another go.

After a couple less than stellar shaves I was reminded of the proper angle. Today's shave wasn't perfect (a couple nicks and weepers due to pressure), but it was super close with zero irritation. While the Sabre is mild (meaning very little blade feel), it certainly can be efficient with the proper angle.
