I was looking around on the fleaBay and came across what looks like an all metal Schick Injector that was listed as a Paul Revere. I can't find it on the Schick description page that every body uses to date Schick Injectors. What letter is it and when was it made?

I moved this into it's own thread. That is a fancy handle L model I think. Bama Samurai and jamie have one I think.

I thought this was a silver handled newer model pretty much an 'L' type - 1970s. They used the Paul Revere name because he was a silversmith and this looks a little/lot like a cutlery handle. Shaving with a fork? : ) photo from coinsandmoreonline.com

I do not have one. I do have several L's with different handles like the stick and grip. I think there was also a red white and blue handle along with this one. I will admit I could be completely wrong.

I will admit I could be completely wrong. Those red/white/blue plastics were pretty ugly. Excuse my french. I found the newer stuff that corresponded in time with the introduction of disposable cartridge razors, was intended to look cheap and plastic like so they would match the competition to some degree. There were plastic handled carts, and silver ones like the dinner fork above too. Ahhhhh..... marketing at its finest!

I do not think they are the best looking. I like the stick with the gearshift on the end. They are super good with a twin blade.

On ↪this page they call it the 'L5'. Not sure who came up with that designation - it's not on ↪Appleby's listThe designations are a bit random anyway. They haven't been updated since 2003 and contain errors and omissions. Nevertheless, they are useful...

Thing is...a pig with or without lipstick could nevah in it's life hope to shave as close as the Schick type L... I think they are my least favorite injector....but with the right blade, they still "blow away" any of the "unmentionables" ....which cost 10 x's as much....

I've actually never shaved with a 'J' although I think those Golden 500's are breathtakenly beautiful....But I was kind of born and raised with L types when I was a young man entering the shaving arena... I always got fantastic shaves...I had never tried the F, G, E, or C types in those days...But I blew through many L types...I was touring with bands and I'd leave them in Dressing Rooms, Hotels, Band Buses, Chick's Apts };^D But it was so easy and cheap to replace one at the closest 7-11....And they all shaved GREAT!! Far better than any "Unmentionable"...
I might need to cop a regular (Bb) L type just to relive my youth....

I will admit I could be completely wrong. The Red, White, and Blue one was a country-specific tie-in to the Olympics. In France, they had a Blue, White, and Red one (different order of colors). I remember learning this a few months ago when some seller had a bunch of NOS French ones for sale.

I like the L types...I had a few back in the day...always enjoyed shaving with them...
I remember awhile back, everyone was saying that the Paul Revere Ware handle added enough weight to make this model the most aggressive of the L types. Makes sense to me...I've never tried one...It is nice looking though...
