Tom, you thought you could hide from me. Ha! It's like to be in this Igor pass around, if you'll let me.

Alan’s IGOR Test Run First off, I was very impressed with this razor. The balance, feel in the hand, and maneuverability were terrific. I’ll discuss all that and more in a summary at the end of the test run. I decided to shave with it 3 times; first shave mild, second medium, and third aggressive. I will be using the same brush, blades, soap, and AS for each shave. Right now, I’m going to report out brief results on each shave. I had the first shave with the IGOR on Thursday the 5th. I set the adjustment at the mildest. I did 3 runs; with, against, and across the grain. End results were no weepers or irritation. Shave was almost baby butt smooth. I was extremely surprised at how natural the razor felt in my hand. It was like I had shaved with it for years. At first I was watching close to be sure and keep the hump against my face, but after a while it felt so normal I stopped concentrating on that and caught myself whisking it around without the hump touching. So, whether the hump was against my face or not the IGOR smoothly cut the whiskers without ripping up my face. I’m thinking this has something to do with bar comb vs. a tooth comb but we’ll discuss that in the summary. Anyway I’ll be performing shave 2 later today and will post results then. Alan

So how does Canada fit then. No ponds to cross. Not in the US. Sigh. I will just assume it is another one in a long list of cross border embargoes we Canadians patiently endure. It keeps us on our toes.

Suffice to say that I thought the bleeding had stopped for good, but I woke up this morning to find one ruined pillow and half my face covered in dried blood... SWMBO didn't see the funny side when I mumbled something about Halloween coming up... I'm sure the Igor is a sensible razor.

Wow. That must be one nasty nick you have. I hope it heals ok. It's quite small actually. The corner of the blade must have dug right in... I didn't even have to call an ambulance... By the time Igor arrives here I should be fine again Shouldn't even leave a scar like the cut I got when I moved the Hussy sideways across my chin for some completely unknown reason. That one hardly bled though.... Nothing beats nicking the the underside of the wing of the nose though... (ever seen Jack Nicholson in 'Chinatown'?) It may not sound like it, but I'm actually quite good at not nicking myself... and I have never had an incident with a GEM blade... Send Igor now!

Alan Sounds like deja vu all over again. It is an easy razor to shave with.
