I think it is right about where they say they are ideal for 'heavy industrial use' that I start to wonder about the finesse these blades will exhibit. Oooooooouch. RM would be going and we'd be going and , so of course we'd need a second opinion, and I already gave one. BTW, If you follow that sight you'll also find DE personna blades. Could be med preps or lab blades, so the injectors might surprise you. A better surprise than John and I had... a pleasant surprise rather than one of "Oh, C--p!"

I have used a Treet SE Carbon blade and loved the smooth and close shave. Much smoother than the PTFE blade at least in the Streamline I used. Now I want to buy this blade in bulk and looking at the Ted Pella 121-1 blade as possibly the same blade as Treet.
The 121-1 blades didn't work for John but then we don't know if the Treet blade would work well for him either. For many the Treet SE blade does not work as well as the PTFE does. For me the opposite is true. I am curious if someone can review this blade as comparison with the Treet SE.
Also wonder how different the Ted Pella 121-82 is compared to the 121-1 blade.
Hoping there is some light shed on this. Thank You.

I can tell you that I like Treet blades, but the 121-1s aren't the same blade by any stretch of the imagination. The only difference I see between the 121-1s and the 121-82s is that the 82s are blued. Maybe I missed something?

Thank You Brian. That is as conclusive as I was hoping for and it puts my curiosity to rest. So the only bulk blade from Ted Pella that is shave worthy is the PTFE SS?

That was my take after John sent me a handful of the 121-1s that he bought. That, and that he now had a lifetime supply of scraper blades.
That was difficult to understand though since the grind was correct. One would assume that they'd make good blades from that knowledge.
