BIG NEWS IN MY SHAVE CAVE TONIGHT!!
Fuzzy piffed me my first Lather Catcher!!!! It's a gorgeous Ever Ready in that 1907 to 1914 style...
I am too busy to go into detail....and tomorrow early I am headed out of town for a day or two...
But I am going to keep this thread going as I post pixs and intensive reviews...
I will say, I grabbed a quick shave tonight and I can't believe how friendly and what a charmer this thing is. I got a BBS that easily matched the best BBS of my life that I got on New Years Eve.!!!! Easily!!
I've really got to run....But this might be the new King....Long Live the King!!!
To Be Continued!
Can't Thank Fuzzy Enough.....This appears to be one of those "shave life defining events"

Glad you like it. That one is kinda a ugly ducklin. ShadowsDad will notice it. It shaves very very good though. I am looking forward to seeing how you two get along!!!!

I'm going to keep this running as I make tests and observations...
Most obvious...I think these two razors share a certain type comparison with their younger ER siblings.... I believe the Wonderful Ever Ready 1909 shaves like an ER 1924 on steroids only even smoother... In much this same way, I believe this ER Lather Catcher shaves like an ER 1914 on steroids, only smoother aswell.

Ha, ha....I did a little....}8^D But this one deserves all the love I can give her....I even thought if it keeps shaving as sweet as it did these first two....I might get it replated...but....you know......I think this razor is stunning.....I wouldn't put a wood handle even though these guys did come out with short wooden or these metal with the stropper handles, both.....Also my ER 1914 handle looks great on it too....But this LC looks perfect I think! This guy has been USED!!! For over 100 years, USED! And I can see why! Same reason I can't seem to put him done.. Fuzzy...did you fine tune this one......because the alignment is spot on! Whew! What a Charmer and a Shaver....I might get an artist friend to sketch this one and put her on a tee-shirt! Ha, ha, she needs her own FaceBook Fan page...};^D I saw an advertisement for this exact razor I might refer to her as a 1912.... I've seen evidence that this s a 1911-1912 and I've seen evidence that it's a 1912-1914...The only thing I am positive of at this time....is these were available in 1912, either way...ha,ha! Doesn't really matter....Beauty is as Beauty does....and in that case, this beauty is certainly a BEAUTY....

I might refer to her as a 1912.... Had to make sure the shave was good with it going to a Knight of the Toady you know! I call mine a 1913ish just because that is in the middle of what could have been the time frame. This one looks alot like the 1911 Gem that Jayaruh has. Anyway it goes she is a good shaving beauty.

I can't see the entire razor, but from what I do see it's great example of a 100 year old (and used) LC. Quite similar to what I use. I didn't pay a lot for my razors. Use it in good health Bird'.

Makes sense now! They were duplicates so close to what I already had that I didn't need them (I'm not a collector). They were liberated from whatever fate would have met them in the wild. I'm extremely happy that they wound up in good hands! That was my intent and the intent of the person who found them and sold them to me.
