I had been waiting on the package to arrive. It finally came, I was so EXCITED... But wouldnt ya know the opportunity for overtime came on Monday and Tuesday both. So who am I to turn down overtime, the only problem....I would have to postpone my shave with the new guy.
Well Wednesday is here, and we all know that means Williams Wednesday! So I break out the Williams, start her blooming and get ready for the shave.
I load a blade, begin the lather, and what do ya know, this beauty of a razor is doing an amazing job knocking down a 2 1/2 day growth.
No irritation or cuts. Just clean and decisive shave. I could have gotten to a bbs, had I changed the blade, as it was on its 4th shave, but since its day off, and the dog is the only one here to look at me, i didnt feel the need.
I will try it with a bit fresher blade, and see what results I get. I think this one will be in the rotation for A LONG time to come!
@wchnu You are the man, I appreciate it ! Also, if any of yall want to watch the video, I will post it here when it finishes uploading.

I probably should have changed the blade, but alas, you live and learn. It was a good shave, not bbs, but then again I wasnt trying to chase the baby. Im sure with a fresh blade, I would have had better results. The next one on saturday or sunday will be the 1912 that Fuzzy spoke of, im sure impressed with the weight, and the way it seemed to function on his shave. Cant wait to try it.

I had some stuff come in the mail today, one thing was a massive boar hair brush, it looks like it is for sure Williams approved, I will use it next wednesday! As far as the 1912, it is soaking in a bit of isopropyl alchohol now, and then I will follow it up with some dawn dishwashing liquid to clean everything up. As well as my other GEM that I purchased the same day. Videos will follow once I receive my palmolive cream in the mail.... now its a waiting game on that....

By the way go check out the Igor pass around and jump in. It will be a few months before it makes it back to the US.

Scrubbing bubbles is one of the best things to clean and sanatize the old razors!!

The Featherweight is a great little SE. Mild head, similar to the Heavy Flat Top (G Bar) and Pushbutton, just a bit lighter. As you've seen, it produces great results. ...Well Wednesday is here, and we all know that means Williams Wednesday! So I break out the Williams, start her blooming and get ready for the shave... Did I just read "Williams" and "blooming" in the same sentence?! Blasphemy!! @wchnu Fuzzy, didn't you make a comment in one of your recent vids something like, "If you want to shim something, go install a window. If you want to bloom something, go plant a flower." I got a kick outta that one!

Here it is in comparison to the FW, that you sent me fuzzy... I was honestly shocked when it arrived. I wasnt expecting that. I may have to try and trim it to see what happens. It was part of a set that came with some unmentionable blades, and an unmentionable razor. Attachments:

However this new brush, may put an end to my blooming once and for all.
