I have had this handle laying around for awhile now. I decited to try a horse knot in it. Here are a gew pics. The second one is the dry fit. My question is what color for the lettering? I am thinking gold or brown or black. Ideas?

If the handle is staying that color, I would think black would stand out for the lettering while complimenting to the horse knot.

I concur that black is the best option, the others may result in too light coloring indeed. Beautiful brush, by the way!

Very nice brush. I say black or Gold. Gold if you want an overall lighter effect. Black will stand out more.
Go with what you like. The brush is yours after all. I k ow you really want Pink😂

It showed itself a lot sooner than expected. I say Black if it were my brush.

I will do better.

Here is what I came up with. I did not want the black to dark...wanted to keep some of the vintage look. Love the look of this chinese horse knot. Not sure if the horse was chinese or not really. Anywhoooo

Thanks twhite. I left the loft a bit high because I have a lower loft horse already. I like that smoke wheel behind the brush. That is one way to keel your shave gear in line.

I like the final product... Looks good. The colors seem to compliment each other very well. I would imagine however, not too many of your shave gear move with out your permission, especially not with that wheel gun keeping them in line.
My razor thought about getting out of line today, but a quick glance at my 1911, and she started behaving again, very quickly.
