It was a dark and dreary morning, typical for February in northeast Ohio. The memories of the night before, seeing Bunny again, were fogged by the lingering effects of late-night revelries in some God-forsaken gin joint whose name I can’t remember. Of all the shave dens in all the world, she had to walk into mine. I got out of bed and, in the dim light, could see Bunny lying there, quietly waiting for what lay ahead. With my Hermey brush I impatiently whipped the Maggard Limes & Bergamot soap into a lather…thick, rich, and luxurious. The fragrant citrus scent spread through the air. I looked at Bunny and said, “I’m using the MILD comb today, baby, so go easy.” She laughed and in her southern California voice said, “We’ll see.” After sliding my hand across her shoulders and down the curve of her back I began my shave holding Bunny lightly at the waist. Though she could seem cold and hard at times, her smoothness tamed the sharp Personna blade she held against my face. I laughed at how natural and effortless this was. We moved together as one with Bunny quickly, gracefully gliding over my skin, playing havoc with the beard that had taken root. I stopped and rinsed my face, first pass done. Bunny waited as I felt my face. “Not bad.” I said. “Almost a BBS in one pass!” I was amazed. Bunny laughed. “We’re not done yet.” she said. This time her tone was somehow darker, almost ominous. “We’ll see…” she had said earlier. I was apprehensive, but continued my shave. I lathered my face and, again, Bunny danced in a way that only she can, taming that hard steel blade as we quickly finished our second pass. I searched my face for any belligerent stubble that remained. I found none. I splashed on some cheap aftershave that was lying around and prepared to leave. We’d had a wonderful shave together, Bunny and I, and I hoped it was a sign of things to come. I looked at her, lying there comfortably, and said, “Thanks, baby, it was great. Take a rest, I’ve gotta get to work.” She lit a cigarette and said, “Men...” Hey hey hey...this is a family place you know. Plus if the Hussy sees this there will be hell to pay.

Oh my God! I never knew a shave could be HOT. Did you write for Penthouse? I need to go take a COLD shower. I feel so dirty😂. Voyeurism is something I may have to take up after reading your post. By the way, too bad you never got to the shave😁 Of course I got to shave, I'm sorry you missed it in all your excitement. If you look closely, all the pertinent points are there: soap, blade, brush, AS, how many passes, results. Isn't that our job? Anyway, I wanted to try a different angle...of sorts. 😁

Hey, she's YOUR creation... Funny stuff. After you saying there's a resemblance between Bunny and Kelly LeBrock? Uh...I don't think so.

Day 2 with the Bunny Injector Razor:
Comb: MILD Soap: Williams Brush: Hermey Blade: Personna
I kept mostly the same setup for Day 2 with the Bunny. Once again the angle was very easy to find, almost instinctual. Bunny has a hump due to the design of the spring that helps make sure the angle is just right. Ride that hump and your golden. It’s not Igor’s hump mind you, it’s smaller, but it’s there. I thought this razor/blade combo worked very well. I’d used a Personna in my Schick E3 and didn’t like the performance at all. But the Bunny MILD comb is far less aggressive than the E3. Either way, the Bunny/Personna combo made short work of my beard. It’s 6:00PM now and I barely have any stubble. I was also thinking how much easier it is to hold this razor as opposed to other injectors. It’s heavier than your standard Schick’s (E series, G series), more like my wife’s K1, but better. I think the curves of the Bunny handle make it easier to hold and maneuver. Maybe I just like the Hussey/Bunny head design over other injectors. I got up late and got a little carried away rushing this morning, so I ended up with one small weeper, but I’m chalking that up to user error, urgency…whatever. Tomorrow, the NOTSO comb with the Personna.

Funny stuff. After you saying there's a resemblance between Bunny and Kelly LeBrock? Uh...I don't think so. Based on your first bunny shave post I would have though otherwise.

Day 3 with The Bunny
Blade: Personna Soap: Williams Brush: Jayaruh 242
After carefully cleaning the MILD comb, I dropped in the NOTSO comb, bottom edge first, and it didn’t fit. The top edge stuck out a fraction of an inch. At this point I’m thinking “I’ve done it again, Tom’s going to kill me.” On closer examination I realized you have to load the comb top edge first. DOH! Next I changed the blade so I had a good comparison to the MILD comb. Either it’s the Bunny design or the cheap plastic Personna injector, but I found it difficult to load the blade. I had to wiggle the injector and pull it out a bit (ever so gently mind you) and the blade finally slid into the razor. But, the blade did not load straight. The far end from the injector was not against the stop, but the close end was. I had to push the blade forward against the stops. After my technical difficulties I got on with my shave. Initially I didn’t notice anything particularly different in the feel of the NOTSO comb. The angle felt the same and I made sure the hump lightly touched my face. But I could sense that the bigger gap of the NOTSO comb was allowing the blade to perform much more efficiently. Two passes for a really close, comfortable, no-irritation shave. No runs, no drips, no weepers. My face might even pass the ‘cotton ball test’. A little more sting today with the AS, but otherwise it went perfectly. I’ll be faceturbating all day.
So, Tom, am I doing something wrong with the blade load? I had the same problem with both blades I’ve used.

Try pushing down on the top of the spring next time. That seats the blade sometimes. Otherwise do as you have done.
