Ok fellas,I just received my Old Spice "original" shipment from India. Brought out my Old Spice "classic"(that is readily available in the states) and my newly acquired vintage Old Spice from the estate sale. And here are my far from expert opinions. I like the "classic" current edition a bit better. More of a sweet or citrus, immediate top note than the other two. The "original" from India and the vintage are very similar in my opinion. (more of a powdery initial impression than citrus or sweet) I might add that the vintage could have turned a bit over the years and I say that because it has a bit of a unpleasant wang to it towards the end of taking in the scent that the other two do not.(maybe that is what they refer to as a bottom note?)

...a bit of a unpleasant wang... Sounds like my last fishing trip. Thank you for the comparisons! I've wondered how the current Western version differs from others.

My nose is never good enough to tell little differences. You need to try the dollar store vie long knockoff and see how it compares.
