I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Proraso Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #105 two-band badger brush. I did two passes with the Henckels Rapide Razor using a Henckels Wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Nice comfortable shave to start the week with. The VeraSoapCo SS is a really nice locally produced soap. Lathers easily, nicely cooling and provide good skin care. My face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Veddy nice shave today. After have lather problems with the Marvy's soap on the second pass yesterday, today was great. The Marvy's did good. I used a new to me later model Schick E2. Vedddy vedddy nice. Not as aggressive feeling as my early model. Still a vedy effecient smooth shave. Finished off with some Indiana Jones style after shave...Pinaud Special Reserve!

Evening single pass head shave. I used the Guiding Eye version of the Bullet Tip, which I just realize is a different finish, a shinier chrome of a slightly different shade from the earlier version. Nice comfortable shave, adequately sharp.

I'm going to correct my prior belief that the Guiding Eye was the later version of the Bullet Tip. This 1949 ad suggests the Guiding Eye in fact got the hook in '49 having been in production doing 1947-48, replaced by the blind version with a somewhat inferior finish (from nickel to chrome) .

When changing Razor Types I tend to use dependable soaps like the Vitos. This Razor with the non stock handle is perfect for me. I can easily use that weight to do the work whilst guiding the Razor with a light touch. Of all my recent Shaves with Injectors/ Vintage SEs this is without the doubt the best in terms of finish quality, and achieved with ease and comfort. I think I perhaps to get rid of the Aluminium AC/SEs that I have, as I cannot see myself needing them often.

Another excellent shave from the shimmed Superior. I did three passes that left me with a BBS shave. Even 12hrs later I still have what would qualify as a DFS.

Enders Speed, Schick Super Stainless Injector, My Father's Face #3. Excellent mild shave . I love the design of the Enders.

This hack uses an Enders blade with the edge trimmed off as a shim to help secure the injector blade. Since there are no blade stops you have to eyeball exposure in setting the Injector blade in place.
