Thursday's ShaveProraso Pre Shave Soap Commander Renewal Jayaruh #271 Rolls CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Florida Water I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Soap Commander Renewal Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #271 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Rolls Razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thursday 29th March Zenith 507 TS OSP Chypre Cream Giles Scuttle Igor by Tom White GEM Stainless Coated #2 Alum Wash Brut Original A/S Lacura Moisturiser I can confirm that Igor gave me a very close shave 2 days ago. The minimal regrowth proved it. I tried the high setting but found it a bit too close, in fact made the same error as Mike mpf9ret and nicked a bit on the chin. So switched back to mid setting for the second pass, switched down for the tidy up, but found that a bit too mild so switched back to mid to finish off. Another fine shave with great software. Well pleased.

Thur 29th March Omega 11126 boar Cyril Salter Solid Soap Supply SE + V2 No 3 plate Schick Proline [ 9 ] Massimo Dutti A/S Lotion I had V1 of the Supply SE and even on the most aggressive plate struggled to get a decent Shave. I explained my predicament to Patrick at Supply, and he kindly sent me a revised No3 plate. I have since then been able to get decent Shaves every outing. I still think the Razor is on the mild side, but has enough blade feel to enable you to chart the progress of the Shave. Must comment on the amazing soap I used today, very pleasant scent and good lathering properties. Also very inexpensive and can be hard to find, though now stocked by Connaughts.

30 MarchPre-Shave: Hot Shower Brush: 24mm Silvertip Badge, Frank Shaving (FS) Soap: Sharp Dressed Man, Sterling Soap Co Razor: Bunny w/ "WILD" Plate, by twhite Blade: Chick Schick (4) Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse, OSMA Alum block and PS, by Paul Sebastian Photo: No work today so I was able to shave in the morning verses shaving the night before. I was able to take my time and enjoy the shave. I started by loading up the the big 24mm FS Silvertip with enough soap to shave today and tomorrow. But that's okay I enjoyed it. After lathering up I decided to try out the WILD Plate on the Bunny. Now keep in mind that I am a Fan Boy of The General razor by Colonial Razors. I always get a BBS shave from The General with out even trying to get a BBS shave. As long as the razor has a sharp blade it will produce a BBS shave. Todays shave may have replaced The General as my all time favorite razor. With one pass I had a BBS shave. Now I did a two pass shave just because I could and was enjoying the shave. I say may have replaced The General because come Monday I will have to send this fantastic razor on her way. I can assure you it will be missed greatly. If anyone has one of Tom's original Bunnies that is not getting much love any more I would be will to give it a new home with a proper re-homing fee.

First go with Crown King, thanks to @tdmsu for the soap. I like the scent a lot but could not find an AS to pair, so Reserve Classic was used as it isn't a super strong scent. Performance was better than I expected. Miles better than PAA that's for sure. Had to slice of 3-4 days of growth today. The Supply has obviously been my go-to razor and it with the #3 plate did the job with ease. Super smooth shave.

Pre: Warm water face wash Brush: Omega 49 Boar Soap: Stirling Spice Razor: Blackland Sabre L1 Blade: Gem Blue Star Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Vitamin E oil, Old Spice AS IMG_20180330_091804.jpg I haven't used this plate for a while and yes there was less than a days stubble to remove but I love the smooth way the Sabre goes about its job. It really is a "Good" Friday when it feels like a Saturday. Happy Shaving one and all.

Fri 30th March Easter Greetings. RazoRock Syn. 22mm De Vergulde Hand Schick C1 Schick Proline [ 1 ] Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion It had been my original intention to use the Type F today, but thought I might try out for the fist time the Type C1 on my cheeks. However after a few cautious strokes ,I seemed to have got the angle right and the Razor was proving not only quite efficient but quite comfortable to use. I decided then to go the whole hog. Despite being an open comb Razor, I found it to be not overly aggressive but was careful to do initial clearance with short strokes and not rush things. I had thought I might have problems around the upper lip and chin , but the rich lather from the soap provided both slide and cushion to prevent this. I am really pleased with the quality of Shave attained on a first outing, it actually being better than those I get with some later Schicks.

Head shave last night Unleashed a fresh puck of Colgate sent to me by Fuzzy(Thanks again) , along with the FW. Few swirls with the Omega boar and I was on my way. That stuff lathers like a rabid dog and didn't run the well dry on water . Very pleasant shave . Sorry for no pics but I'm still trying to figure out this 3rd party hosting racket. If anyone knows of a good easy program to use please let me know .Have a great day!

Saturday 31st March - Easter Shave Zenith 506U TS OSP Spice Road (prototype) Igor by Tom White GEM Stainless Coated #3 Alum Wash Old Spice A/S Lacura Moisturiser This time, my favourite soap gets its rare outing for this shave. James Riley of OSP originally offered this prototype to the testers. But it never made it commercially. I have a small amount left, so keep it for special occasions. I’m keeping Igor on the mid setting, as that suits my 2 day growth. It’s an easy razor to negotiate around the face. And again gave me a very close, clean shave. Happy Easter to you all
