Monday, 23 April Gem Feather Weight Gem SS/PFTE Blade (8) Made-Rite 500PB Brush Arko Shave Stick Barbasol Brisk Still rocking the FW and the Arko and enjoying it. That'll be my combo of choice tomorrow also. OK, OK!!!! You are breaking me down!!! I have a perfectly good FW sitting around and have yet to give it a whirl. You have finally broken my resolve!!!! Tomorrow morning..... As I don't have any Arko (I have tried it and am not dieing for any) I will substitute some of the P.160 from ShadowsDad. These SOTDs are dangerous reading!!

Razor: Ever Ready 1914 Blade: GEM stainless Brush: Dollar Store Boar brush Lather: L'Occitane Cade soap A/S: Alum, Lucido splash, Aloe Vera gel
A break-in lather with my dollar-store-boar. It's still too stiff, but getting there. Another great shave with the 1914, but tomorrow it's time for something else. Mostly BBS.

GEM Feather Weight Pella PTFE x1 Omega Pro Boar P.160 Krampert's Finest BayRum Well I was pleasantly surprised with this razor!! I had not been seriously contemplating using it until I saw our very own ThreadMeister pluck away at it! I thoroughly enjoyed this shave. For me the razor was light and responsive. The blade frame is well shaped and fits everywhere it needs to. The hook on the 'pistol grip' is an ideal handle piece to hold on to and I never personally experienced any difficulty holding the plastic handle while wet. It gave me a great shave!!! (A couple of nicks here and there, but I was so impressed after the first half of the shave I paid little attention and probably got a wee bit carried away with dramatic swooping strokes!!! doh! : The P.160 - I'm still working with this soap. It really is my first soft soap and I need a little more practice as I used a tad too much water this time. However, I made about a quart of the stuff so I didn't run out!! : ) There ya go, I am no longer a FW virgin and I am now basking in the warm afterglow of having been broken in!

Gem Feather Weight Gem SS/PFTE Blade (9) Made-Rite 500PB Brush Arko Shave Stick Barbasol Pacific Rush
My experience today with the FW was just like RocketMan's and, in fact, like it always is with this fine little razor. It really needs to get a little more love from me on a regular basis.

Tuesday April 24th
Schick Injector G Series Schick China blade (1) Mama Bear's Spicy Lime Soap Thayers Super Hazel Krampert's Finest Bay Rum, Menthol
Great great shave. I'm really impressed by the aggression of this razor. A 2 pass BBS on the face and a great head shave, though I did have one bad cut on the head. Still figuring out the angle.
I'm looking forward to trying out my Schick Adjustable when it gets here.
Gentlemen, have a great day!
