I will start of April’s Haul with an Auto Strop A1. This is in a bit better shape than my first one. On an Auto Strop note. Not sure if a member won the Beautiful A2 on eBay today. I was watching that one. It went for a very reasonable price. Love me some Autostrop razor!! Beautiful A1 Tom. Used a VC1 this morning with a modified Gem SS and got a WONDERFUL shave. I love this thing. I will be using it tonight. Gem carbon for me.

Another DeHaven Model 3, rhodium plated (I think), the best of the bunch as it is the most stable and requires no blade adapter, for me one of the most beautiful razors ever produced, in NOS condition (instructions, full supply of compound).

Not shave related but pretty cool This is a 124lb anvil made by Hay Budden. They made anvils for various Hardware stores and the likes. It is from 1894-5. I need to wire brush the rust off. The face is in decent shape.

Very nice twhite. Looks like my Grandads old anvil from the shop back on the farm. I love the sound of a ringing anvil.

Very nice twhite. Looks like my Grandads old anvil from the shop back on the farm. I love the sound of a ringing anvil. I have been looking for months. I have told everybody I am looking for an anvil. On Saturday my sister bought me a Fisher 50# anvil for $40. The same day I spotted this one. I had to pay $3 a lb $375 for it. That is a fair price in so cal. I have seen total pieces of S#]T for more and 40-50 lbs lighter. Next up is building a forge.

I know, my max bid was $100 so... Also the Auto Strop Army kit auction from the same seller closed really high. Put the words MUSEUM & MINT on the description and people go crazy...
