Greetings Tuesday 15th May 2018 Prep: Shower Razor: Henckels Rapide Blade: Henckles Rapide Brush: APShave Co. SynBad Soap: Arko Stick Grated Aftershave: Astral Cream (soft) EDP: Penhaligon's Empressa Another Penhaligon's tester, whilst this fragrance is absolutely lovely I feel it is way too feminine for me and I say that as a man who owns very many so called 'female' perfumes. To my nose it shouts sophisticated middle aged or mature woman, it is not girly pink sweet. Whilst I believe that you shouldn't in general categorize fragrances by gender or age there are some that are so extremely weighted one way or the other it is impossible not to do so and this, to my nose, is one of them. I would humbly suggest that if you have a wife/girlfriend/partner in the above category this would make a super and relatively safe blind buy fragrance gift. Regards Dick.

Just picked these up from the mail and had to give them a trial run . On the left is my new adopted friend the 'gunslinger' mahogany handled synthetic knot brush from JR and on the right is the 'slugger' model shick G won in a generous pif from Jim and Andrew. Thanks again gentlemen for your generosity. This was my 1st time using an injector style razor and i would have to say it was a "home-run" ! Was brave enough to try my head also and it came out smooth as a new baseball. The Colgate gave me that slick film that i like and the synthetic knot was soothing and lathered like a champ. Overall it was a shave well worth waiting for . This razor has a new lease on life and will be around for another century . Glad to hear that that razor worked well for you. It should last many years.

Tue 15th May Vulfix 404 Vitos Super Red ES Claymore V1 Schick Proline [ 14 ] Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion I am very pleased that I acquired a V1 Claymore, as despite the fact that it is heftier and not as pretty as some of its rivals, once mastered it provides very good Shaves. Today using the very dependable Vitos and with a blade on its 14th outing, I had a remarkably smooth and comfortable Shave. Not only was the Shave trouble free but the overall quality of finish was Top notch. I actually find that it works better round the lower jawline than most other Razors.

Williams Wednesday's ShaveProraso Pre Shave Williams Jayaruh #287 Pal Injecto-Matic Schick Proline B20 CWR Thayers Lemon WH Barbasol I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #287 brush. I did two passes with the Pal Injecto-Matic Razor with a Schick Proline B20 blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

SOTD MAYhem 16th Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap Schick Injector H1 "The Hussy" Personna blade Doug Korn Stubby (35mm, Carrier Class) Italian Barber Amici Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill PSB First shave with The Hussy. The head design and feel reminds be a lot of The Bunny, or The Bunny reminds me a lot of The Hussy. The rectangular handle was a little awkward on the XTG pass but otherwise felt great. Three passes left me just short of BBS. I finished off with some Stirling Glacial lemon Chill PSB for my daily face freeze. I will have to scrape the remaining Amici from the sides of the tin and redeposit them in the middle for its last shave. Have a great day my friends!

Wed 16th May Omega 11137 Tabac stick Mongoose B3 Schick Proline [ 10 ] Tabac A/S Lotion Continued my AC/SE rotation with my shiny B3.I cannot remember when I last used a stick, but it lathered very well with the Omega brush. My use of the Prolines seems to guarantee a trouble free quality Shave in any of my razors. Must try and use my Feather Pros more,as I have some stock brought before the Schicks came on the Scene.
