Hello all I am trying to made my MMOC as my go-to razor for my shaving routine. It shaves me quite well, except my chin and jawline. Stubble on my chin is very thick, and I have problems to remove it With my other razors I use blade buffing, which works, but with GEM is not so easy, because of head profile of the razor. So, I need to put a little pressure on these places, which cause me rubbing and irritation  After that I should not shave for 1-2 days, to heal the skin Do you have similar problems, and do you have any ideas how to eliminate them? Thanks !

I have an idea that will solve your problem. Throw it in the trash and shave with an injector. If it’s not working why intentionally make it your go to? You could use two tools too there is no shame in that.

Throw it in the trash and shave with an injector. Possum would definitely agree

fram is on the right track. Get an OCMM from out of the trash with one or both blade stops missing and turn it into a SEvette. More than that I don't have since I don't have the problem.

Wow, these guys don't mess around with the advice. However, Z-2 , you asked. Sounds like good advice, too.

Do you have similar problems, and do you have any ideas how to eliminate them? Certainly. Get a better shaving soap, and let it do its work. Even whiskers have to succumb to the laws of physics and chemistry. A dry whisker offers the same resistance to cutting as a copper wire of the same diameter. And properly prepared whisker only offers a fraction of this resistance. In my experience, "coarse beard", "heavy growth", or "my biological father was a porcupine" are just euphemisms for "I never bothered properly preparing my beard for shaving." Seriously. Get a better soap, face lather for at least 30 seconds in that affected areas, rejoice. It's got much less to do with the razor used than with proper preparation of the beard.

Ride the cap, or close to it, that way you cut hair, not scrape skin. Extreme BBS is stupid, avoid it.

Thanks ! On the jawline I would say skin stretching helps. Ypu can pull the skin up and have a flatter area to shave. With the chin I use short strokes. Also stretching some there can help. Looks funny in the mirror but works. This is how I do it.
