Yep, works fine in my Clog-Pruf as well as one would expect. Tues 25th Sept. As an experiment I tried a Schick Proline Type B - AC blade in a Micromatic, or OCMM. Yesterday I had a 3rd Shave with that combination and the Shave was smooth in all areas, and the standard of the finished Shave was very good. Some may consider this to be out of order - but it works. Folk bring back to life Razors that only take propriety blades by adapting modern blades. View AttachmentView Attachment

Does this yield better results than using a regular SE blade? Part of the charm for me with these razors, is that there isn't an overwhelming blade choice... Thus forcing me to focus on Pressure, Angle and Skin stretching (deliberately capitalised as they are the master shaving skills). TTT forever!

Depends on your blade preference I suppose. Some people swear by a particular injector or AC blade, Schick Proline seem all the rage these days., Does this yield better results than using a regular SE blade? I wonder if it is better because it is what someone prefers? I know that with other things that is how it is.

Wow...thus is a great thread for a great razor. And the Fuzz-Man's video and advice on skin stretching was so profound....
Aswell as the SS vs CS blade observations...everyone spot on....sometimes when traveling I use the SS's because of longevity and ease...But I prefer CS 99 times out of 100....}8^))...and also when traveling, most of the time..
Now you've done.... Now I'm gonna have to pull my OCMM out and dust it off and take a stroll down memory lane...

I`ve got 8 Pal blades, which supposed to be carbon. I`m thinking to try them soon, I hope to be like Treet blades.

Getting harder to find in my area, though. And I totally agree with the point made earlier regarding the lack of blade options with SE razors. It's one of the things I like about using these. Learn to properly wield the tool as it was designed. Technique trumps tools...
