Shave Kit Pix is killin'....Colors jump out at you! Kind of 70'ish! But it's that razor..it photobombs with a 70's Vibe...}8^D

I got my second shave with this baby today! Today I side lined the Pro-line so I could try a run of the mill, rebranded Personna blade...and see how she shaves with normal tools }8^D She didn't disappoint! Still a fine injector by any standarts...Plain and simple, a Great Shaver...and now I'm starting to bond with her! She definitely has her own personality and moves.
Her profile is a little like the Schick L type which was her contemporary, only she has that shiney ChromeSteel hardware...and her attitude towards whiskers is much more aggressive....She just can't tolerate leaving any standing...ha,ha, shes funny that way!
Yep, I am veddy veddy happy with this one....makes me smile...there's something fun about this one.

My final shave test for this thread...unless something unusually exciting turns up.
Today I did a Shave-Off.....Personna/EMS blade on Left Face----Pro-line B-20 on Right
Actually I belive both blades shaved equally close in this razor...Maybe the Floating Head Personna is something of a blade equalizer.
BUT, the Personna blade had more blade feel/feedback and the Pro-line went back to that "Is there a blade in this razor" type "Feel".
For the most part...in terms of aggression I'd put this in the catagory with the Injecto-matic. But this razor feels extremely mild....So the feel is more like a Schick L type. So a Schick L type that shaves as close and quickly as an Injecto-matic if you will....That is a dandy combination.
This can be a tad frustrating for some though, unless you just "let go". Because when it feels so mild, you want to use more pressure...But in reality, that pressure is not needed because this razor is extremely efficient!
So there ya go....As I said before, I give it a very high rating... This last injector incarnation from Personna is another home-run for the ASR/Ever Ready Team. As usual, but then I've always been a big fan of everthing GEM and Ever Ready. These folks always seem to deliver outstanding shave instruments. BULLY!!

So, is the pivot good, bad, or just a gimmick?

It is my favorite injector when used with Japanese twin blade. Isn't a twin blade technically a, ahem,... double edge?

It is my favorite injector when used with Japanese twin blade. Isn't a twin blade technically a, ahem,... double edge? It is allowed just like DE micromatic blades. I used twin injector blade in a Hussy for my before work shave.

So, is the pivot good, bad, or just a gimmick? It works!! Personna's last injector innovation is a smashing success, IMHO!! It's one if my favorite razors...But I must confess...When they first made the scene in the '70's, I never tried one, because I thought were a "gimmick"...well "ignorance is bliss" and I was a very blissfull cat most of my life 😉🤭😜🤣😂

Yup. They use to charge by the word to send messages. I would not have had to pay much. Lol.
